Queen Mark is a recent Accounting graduate of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, with a strong interest in nonprofit service, accountability, and child-focused development work. She is joining SELI’s team with a desire to apply her academic training and volunteer experience in support of transparent and effective project implementation.
She is a passionate child advocate who has volunteered with several organisations, serving in capacities such as project support, programme coordination assistance, and facilitation. Queen is also a dedicated children’s and Sunday School teacher at the Assemblies of God, Bauchi Area, where she supports religious and social interventions within the Children’s Department.
Beyond the church, she volunteers her time teaching in primary schools, contributing to early childhood learning and development. At SELI, Queen supports the finance function by assisting with financial documentation, record-keeping, and accountability processes under guidance, as she continues to build practical experience in nonprofit financial management.
Her commitment to service, love for children, and willingness to learn make her a valuable addition to the SELI team.
We are dedicated to improving learning outcomes by supporting children and teenagers, and equipping teachers to help them not only attend school, but thrive across Northern Nigeria. We build the roots in primary schools and raise the leaders in secondary schools.
