Lekan Otudodunrin is a veteran Nigerian journalist, media career development specialist, lecturer and mentor with over 30 years of experience in the media industry. He holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Mass Communication from the University of Lagos and is a fellow of prestigious international institutions, including the Thomson Foundation (UK) and the Poynter Institute (USA).

He began his career with leading Nigerian media organisations, including The Punch Newspapers and The Nation Newspapers, where he held senior editorial roles. He is currently the Executive Director of the Media Career Development Network (MCDN), a nonprofit organisation dedicated to mentoring, training, and supporting journalists across Nigeria and Africa.
Lekan has authored books on journalism, facilitated numerous media training programmes, and been recognised with awards for excellence in the field. His dedication to mentoring and empowering the next generation of journalists has earned him deep respect in the media community and among his mentees nationwide.
We are dedicated to improving learning outcomes by supporting children and teenagers, and equipping teachers to help them not only attend school, but thrive across Northern Nigeria. We build the roots in primary schools and raise the leaders in secondary schools.
